My Thoughts: At first, I really didn’t like Shi but he kind of grew on me a little. Carmen not so much. She just seems kind of odd. There seemed to be more intimate and romance moments in this book. However, this is probably my least favorite of the three books in the bundle.

Note: I found while reading the second book, that there will be more books in this series in the future. Also, there is the series that comes before this one. I will be reading neither. The stories are interesting and the world of the story is pretty cool but I want to move on to something else.

My Thoughts: This book was much better than the last. There was more action and romance. I also liked the couple more, even though Kole is seen in a negative light in the previous book.

Wicked Werewolf Night by Lisa Renee Jones

Wicked Werewolf Night

Note: This series is the sequel of Lisa Renee Jones’ Vampire Warden series. I was not aware of this until making this review. I knew something was off while reading it though, so I suggest reading it first.

Blurb: Nico Moore is the leader of of The Werewolf Society’s elite Royal Guard. Aylia Richardson is the witch who calls to the beast in Nico, but destiny has also made her the keeper of a gift that threatens the very existence of his race. To destroy this gift will destroy this woman…the only one he has ever dared to call ‘mate’.

My Thoughts: As stated in the note, there is more to the story. I slightly confused at first, but the holes (at least I hope) were filled during the story. I liked both main characters. I even have accidentally tried to call my new dog Nico, which made me laugh.  There were several characters at the beginning and I had a hard time remembering who was what.

An Unnatural Worth by Mya

An Unnatural Worth

Blurb: The vampire, Lexis, had it all: beauty, grace, a powerful coven. Through arrogance, he lost even more: his freedom, his sight, even his will. But the werewolf, Bryce, gives him a reason to live, and fuck, and fight for his life.

Warning: This story contains male/male romance.
This includes pretty detailed sexual scenes between two men.

My Thoughts: The cover looks even weirder up close. Anyway, this book was well written. I did think the relationship between Lexis and Bryce formed too fast. They went from strangers to lovers very shortly. I liked the plot, though. I am all about supernatural creatures. Overall, the love story was sweet and I like how it ended (not the sex scene).
