My Thoughts: I started listening to this when the new semester started, and I had a really hard time just listening to it in the car. I would have finished it much sooner if it wasn’t for school stuff.
I love how the story unfolded. I love how my mind was changed about some characters. The world that Laini created was amazing. I just enjoyed it so much.
The mystery of it all was just at the right level. It was revealed a little here and a little there, but it kept you wondering.

Blurb: Bree Tanner can barely remember life before she had uncannily powerful senses, superhuman reflexes, and unstoppable physical strength. Life before she had a relentless thirst for blood…life before she became a vampire.
All Bree knows is that living with her fellow newborns has few certainties and even fewer rules: watch your back, don’t draw attention to yourself, and above all, make it home by sunrise or die. What she doesn’t know: her time as an immortal is quickly running out.

My Thoughts: I had bought this a long time ago, when I found it existed because I really enjoyed Twilight. I thought now was a good as time any to read it, hoping I did not forget too much of the series.
It took my a while to get back into the world of Twilight. And honestly, I do not remember Bree at all in the series. Anyway, the characters were likable, surprisingly. Even when she was showing what it was like to be like the “bad” vampires I liked Bree. It it hard to describe her without spoiling too much, but she seemed like a honest person.
So, the ending is already known because it is stated in the beginning or if you remember her from the series. However, I hoped for a different ending. I was heart broken for her.

My Thoughts: Just as I stated with the Fantastic Beasts books, this would have helpful when I was reading Harry Potter. However, this one was my least favorite of the short novels. I probably would have been more entertained when I was younger.

My Thoughts: This would have been interesting to read as I read the Harry Potter series years ago. There was so much information about all the creatures. It was really interesting. If you enjoyed Harry Potter, I suggest you read these stories.

My Thoughts: Cute book. I enjoyed this novel, but I wished it was a bit longer. I liked that the writing styles were different. It helped under the characters better. I was surprised that it never really bothered me. I also wish there was more romance. I felt that I could relate to some of the characters in different ways, which I did not really expect.

English Name: Flowers Flow in the Lapis Lazuli Wind
Status of Series: Complete (3 volumes)
Synopsis: “You’ve always belonged to me since long ago.” In order to get revenge against the enemy nation, who destroyed her own country, Hina decided to become their crown princess… However, she cannot help being attracted to Ashiru, who’s supposed to be her enemy… (Source: Aerandria).
My Thoughts: I can’t stand that whole trend in manga and anime that someone can do also anything to someone else and they still can “fall in love.” This manga was not of the rape kind, but it still is annoying at so many levels. She seems completely helpless, even thought she acts like she is brave. The story line was predicable and not enjoyable. I will not be reading the last two volumes.

My Thoughts: I seen the movie adaption when I was very young, so it is hard to try to not to compare the movie with the book. It was very interesting. The messages seem quite different from the movie. I enjoyed it. However, I feel like the characters were too humanized in some ways. The end was predictable. I have not decided if I will be reading the sequel, Bambi’s Children.

My Thoughts: A friend of mine had me watch the movie adaption when I was in junior high. It changed my view of the world forever. Therefore, I wanted to read the book. This book is so detailed and covers so much. It is an amazing book, and I really enjoyed reading it. It opens your eyes of the lives of other animals. The development and adventure was just great. I liked the ending as well.

Blurb: When Elizabeth Bennet first meets eligible bachelor Fitzwilliam Darcy, she thinks him arrogant and conceited; he is indifferent to her good looks and lively mind. When she later discovers that Darcy has involved himself in the troubled relationship between his friend Bingley and her beloved sister Jane, she is determined to dislike him more than ever. In the sparkling comedy of manners that follows, Jane Austen shows the folly of judging by first impressions and superbly evokes the friendships, gossip and snobberies of provincial middle-class life.

My Thoughts: This was one of the classics that I knew little to nothing about. I ended up enjoying it much more than I thought I would. The whole language from that time was hard to understand at times, but I found it entertaining.
I think that the idea of love and romance is interesting in the book. It was hard to comprehend at times. However, I liked the romance between the characters (no spoilers. Lol).
