Blood Soaked Promises by RaShelle Workman

Blood Soaked PromisesBlurb: Snow White must come to terms with her bloodlust. It’s one thing to drink the blood of her Hunter, something else entirely to drink the blood of a human.

My Thoughts: This book, which in the last book in the bundle I bought, was very so slightly better. However, it does not hold my interest, so I will be dropping the series. I am not even sure what to say about it. There are just too many holes for me to really get into it. The action of the characters have me shaking my head. I just find several things hard to believe. For example, how can all seven of they boys like Snow? Highly unlikely. Then Christopher comes along and likes her too. That’s just too much. There are several other things that I dislike but I will not mention them.

My Thoughts: This is going down hill and fast. I will read the last book in my bundle and if things don’t become more interesting then I will drop this series. It is moving really slow. A lot of the important issues are not being addressed. That is always a big issues for me and I can hardly stand it. Snow is not thinking about what she is doing and is becoming really annoying.

My Thoughts: Snow finds out what is going on from Professor Pops (I really dislike his nickname) and Kenmei. Her vampireness is starting to take over and change her personality. She is beginning to lose control. I can’t help be point out that she isn’t as conflicted about it. It ends with a bit of a surprise.

Blood and Snow

Blurb: “Lips red as rubies, hair dark as night. Drink your true love’s blood, become the Vampire, Snow White.”

Every thousand years the vampire queen selects a new body, always the fairest in the land, and this time she’s chosen Snow White.
Snow White lives in Salem, Massachusetts with her dad, stepmother, and her cat, Gatsby. Her entire life she’s been teased for her fairy tale name, and the fact that her seven best friends happen to be guys whose names begin with the same letters as the seven dwarves.

Everything changes two months before her sixteenth birthday. She’s bitten by The Hunter, and transformed into a revenant—not quite human, not quite vampire.

My Thoughts: First off, each book in this series is very short. This one was only 55 pages. I wasn’t too sure about this series because retellings kind of get on my nerves, but I decided to give it a shot. It is not as bad as I thought. Snow is just normal girl in high school and she is friends with her seven neighbors (who are all adopted brothers). It’s kind of weird. The ending was more interesting, so I have hope.
