The Scare Crow series by Julie Hockley
Its simple and white with just the right amount of red and black to draw your attention. And I love the body parts that look like they are coming from the cover.
Again I am doing a post not about books.
My throwback is The Sims. The original Sims. I played it when it first came out and thought it was the best thing in the world. I have all of the games, I think. I have them in storage so I can’t tell you right now. I don’t play it anymore since they came out with the Sims 2 and the Sims 3. I play the Sims 3 the most right now. On occasion I will play the Sims 2.
I’m going to do my top ten favorite things to do in my spare time. I know they all don’t have to do with books but I just wanted to mix it up a little bit.
These are not in order.
Nineteen-year-old Emily Sheppard is losing her sanity. Ever since her mob king boyfriend, Cameron Hillard, abandoned her for her own good, Emmy has been attempting to move on with her charmed college student life as if nothing happened. Now rejected from the underworld and left grieving over Cameron’s alleged death, Emmy realizes she belongs nowhere. Worse yet, she is now keeping a dangerous secret.
After just a short time with Emily, Cameron has lost control over his world. As he miserably attempts to return to what is left of his life and unravel the mess he has made of the underworld, Emily’s hate turns to desperation. She needs to kill the kingpins responsible for Cameron’s death before they come looking for her. As Cameron secretly observes Emily, he has no idea of the danger he has placed her in—or that it may already be too late for him to save her.
Scare Crow is a tale of revenge, terror, and love as Emmy and Cameron embark on separate journeys to face enemies, correct past mistakes, and find their way to their destinies.
I can do a craft post. Since I’ve been in a lot of reading slumps lately and can’t seem to read a lot of books I’ve been doing some crafting things which I love doing. We talked about it and I think we decided that I could put a few crafting posts up so I’m still able to post other than just the weekly posts.
