The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore

The Rise of Nine

Until the day I met John Smith, Number Four, I’d been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive.

Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others. . . .

I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we’re looking for the others—including John.

But so are they.

They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They caught me in New York—but I escaped.
I am Number Six.
They want to finish what they started.

But they’ll have to fight us first.

My Thoughts: Book three in the series. This book came out on the first of one of my semesters, so I didn’t have all the time I wanted to read it. I had to use the blurb again for the same reason as before. Hopefully, I won’t have to do it again. I am to do a good review. My review on goodreads doesn’t help much (not a whole lot there). I might have to reread the whole series when the next book finally comes out.

  1. Hello, Neat post. There’s a problem with your website in internet explorer, would test thisˇK IE nonetheless is the market leader and a good portion of other people will omit your excellent writing due to this problem.

    • I checked out our blog with Internet Explorer just now, and I do not see any problems. What exactly is the issue?
      Thank you for your comment!
